Pine Bark Helps Boys with ADHD but Not Girls

A report out Bratislava, Slovakia, says that pine bark extract, a substance known as Pycnogenol, calms boys with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) but not girls. These findings offer parents a natural option to help their children since many are concerned with side effects of prescription drugs. Although researchers still don't know exactly how Pycnogenol works in relieving ADHD symptoms, they believe that Pycnogenol may become a good natural supplement for ADHD in children.
